Today we’re talking with Bespoke Sound Curator and Copenhagen-based Aussie DJ, Designer, and record hunter Ash Pederick, AKA Dingo Tracks. Ash has curated festivals and various club nights since his arrival in Denmark 5 years ago whilst working in Europe's largest online record shop - Vinyl.EU. Ash lives and breathes music but loves most to hit the road in his van touring with mates bands. Originally from Perth, Australia, Ash started putting on parties more than 10 years ago to help feed his record collecting habit and not much has changed!

MC Pinty – Tomorrow's Where I'm At (Dub)
Pinty’s witty spit cuts quick and deep, and is out now in club friendly dubs ready to heat up the return of your local dance floor. This release has got my tracksuit top on, hittin' top speed on my moped buzzing through town, ready to jump back to normality… whatever that is!?
Anyway, I’d like to thank the likes of Pinty, Emma-Jean Thackray, King Krule & Floating Points for keeping contemporary music fresh & Jazzy. I can’t help but feel the UK is always ahead of the game when comes to producing quality new artist/music. Sadly the city I live in (Copenhagen) seems stuck in an old-fashioned time-warp when it comes to Jazz and contemporary music. But hopefully, I’ll soon be proven wrong… I guess they have been spoilt since the 60’s when jazz cats Dexter Gordon, Sahib Shihab, Ben Webster, and Kenny Drew all moved to town. Wake up!
Sindayo x Mikey Young
Music in Exile delivers again with another great example of contemporary global dance music thanks to Mikey Young's remix. He transports the traditional East African folk music by Melbourne duo Music Yared into new places where we can celebrate cultural heritage and diversity.
Not gonna lie but I’m a fan of pretty much everything Mikey Young lays his hands on… whether it’s guitars, keys or this new slammin’ remix. After seeing Eddy Current Suppression Ring at my local pub back in 2009 it was clear I’d forever want to imitate his warm thick guitar tones that shook my bones with his hotted-up value amp.
This sits nicely next to my already hammered copy of Ginoli Remix by Gordon Koang on my record shelf!
Nu Genea - Marechià (with Célia Kameni)
As my Italian friend and I were enjoying a cold beer and conversation in the sun this past summer, he says “hey man you gotta hear this track. - it sounds just like just your thing”, and he was right! Within 10 seconds of hearing the song, I was already hooked and reminded of my dreams to one day ride a Vespa down the Amalfi coast! This is how I believe it should sound and funny enough the song is named after a small seaside village in the Gulf of Napoli. Nu Genea’s blend of summery disco full of tasty guitar licks and synth-drenched pop sensibility with a French twist has me excited for their next release.
WITCH - Freedom Fighter
This is a forgotten 7" I discovered early last year and managed to reissue it thanks to Calum from Sharp Flat, helping songwriter Stanford Tembo with some medical help. All profits went to the Artist and I’d like to thank all parties involved in making this possible. It was a dream come true to put out one of my favorite African bands and I had a great time designing the packaging too. Full story about this hand made edition at Vinyl.eu
